Highland Park - Garvanza HPOZ – Adaptive Reuse of a 1920’s Garage into a Studio Apartment

This is the third of several dwellings to be restored on the same site by the same owner-developer. An original board and batten two car Garage was converted into an open and airy Studio Apartment. We met the objectives of the HPOZ’s Preservation Plan and were able to get a bonus dwelling unit on the site by retaining and rehabilitating the historic outbuilding in place.
